How to Join

Step 1

     Attend a few of our meetings. Meetings are held twice monthly at the North Las Vegas Airport terminal in the Grand Canyon Room, meeting time is 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm. We do recognize Federal and State holidays and do not hold meetings on those days. Please reach out to us before attending a meeting to verify there is an upcoming meeting.

Step 2

     If you are interested in joining you will be given a Membership Application and FD 258 Fingerprint Card. These forms are available at the squadron, or a fillable form is available here. Fingerprinting can be done at a squadron meeting or at the North Las Vegas Police station at a nominal cost. Military personnel may arrange to have fingerprints done by Security Forces while on base. We currently do not accept digital fingerprint submissions, hard copies must be provided.

Step 3

     Turn in your application, fingerprint card, and a check (payable to Civil Air Patrol) at the squadron. Or if paying by credit card you can submit your application, fingerprint card, and payment to:

     There is an annual membership fee of $63 for Nevada Wing.

Expedited Mail 

     FedEx and UPS are both delivered directly to the National Headquarters building.   Priority Mail from the United States Postal Service may be delayed several days while it is routed through the Air Force base mail system.  

     When your application is received at National Headquarters, it is date stamped and processed in order by the date it arrived.  You will receive an automated welcome email when the membership is processed.
